For farmers and ranchers

Every acre you harvest, on a record you hold.

Alerts on your bins, wells and tanks. A harvest record you keep.Your yield monitor already records moisture, yield, date and location. SHC brings it and your sensors into one stamped record you hold, built so an adjuster or buyer can check it hasn't changed.

Tell us what you run, what you grow, and where you have power and internet. A person at SHC answers your questions by email or on a short call. No obligation.

Sound familiar?

Your combine knows more than your paperwork.

Moisture, yield and position are recorded on every pass. Then they scatter.

  • Your data, their terms

Harvest data lives in each maker's app. Change brands and the history may stay behind.
  • No signal in the field

Sensors go quiet where the cell signal ends.
  • Records on your word

Your field-by-field history is hard for anyone else to check.

What you get

From the cab to a record you hold.

Four pieces. Capture: combine data, and IoT to collect your own data from your operations. Your harvest record: stamped, secured, and exportable. Insights: real-time alerts and reports, customized to your operations. And a place to run it. SHC will handle the installation and manage the hardware and software.

  1. Combine: moisture, yield per acre
  2. Location
  3. Date and time
  4. Field sensors
  5. Wells and tanks
  6. Your harvest record
  • No signal? We bring it.

A radio network across your place, carried out over your farm office's internet or satellite.
  • The machines you already run

We help bring in what your combine and sensors record. SHC will handle the installation.
  • Stamped as a record

Stamped on an immutable ledger any third-party reviewer can verify, built to show if your harvest record has been changed or tampered with.
  • Real-time alerts and reports

Moisture trends, yield by field, a bin warming or a sensor gone quiet, to the person who owns it.
  • Reads, never runs

Your combine, pivots and pumps stay as they are.
  • Each person sees their part

Crew, adjuster and buyer each see only the records you share.

Your readings sit in your own account. Your data is not sent to any outside company, not kept beyond the systems we run for you, and not used to train any model.

What the pieces do together

Then the pieces start working together.

  • Harvest recordStamped

    Records that support your claim

Yield, moisture, date and field, built to show nothing changed since it was stamped. Kept beside your scale tickets.

  • Harvest recordAccess by role

Lots a buyer can check before they bid

For buyers who pay on origin or handling: share a lot's field of origin, harvest dates and moisture, and nothing else.

  • Moisture readingsAI on your numbers

    When to cut

Moisture from today's loads, set against your drying cost and the prices you watch: cut, dry, store or sell. A person decides.

  • Field sensorsAlerts

    Problems caught early

A bin warming, a pump stopping or a tank running low goes to the person who owns it.

Runs where your power is

On your place, or on SHC servers.

  • On your place

Where there's power, a data center on your farm. It processes your readings and can earn you revenue through a revenue share or land lease. If you pay for the hardware, you own it, and you share revenue with SHC or pay SHC an operational fee. Optional. The term, power, removal and insurance are set out in writing before you sign.
  • On SHC servers

No power on site? Your readings go to SHC servers in Texas and Kansas.
  • Managed either way

SHC manages the hardware, the software and the radio network.

No room for a data center? A small device on site collects and compiles your readings and sends them on.

Insights

Insights: notes, not orders.

Open-source models, on your place or on SHC servers, turn your readings into real-time alerts from your sensors and reports from each day's harvest data: moisture trends, yield by field, a sensor gone quiet. Your data is not sent to any outside company, not kept beyond the systems we run for you, and not used to train any model. A person decides what to do.

Who holds what

Our rails. Your record.

  • We run the infrastructure. You hold the keys and the control.

Servers on your place or ours, the radio network across your place, upkeep of the hardware and software, and alerts and reports as readings come in.
  • Your machines, your harvest record, every stamp.

Your machines stay yours, as today. You decide who sees what, and a full copy of your records is yours whenever you want it.

How it works

Three steps.

  1. Step 1Email or a short callTell us what you run, what you grow, where you have power and internet, and whether you own the ground.
  2. Step 2Pick the pieces and where they runYou get a fixed number before you sign.
  3. Step 3We survey, then installTiming depends on your project. Radio network first, then bin, well and tank alerts, then your harvest record.

Questions farmers and ranchers ask

Before you ask.

+Does it work with the combine and sensors I already have?
Tell us the make, model and year of your combine and monitor. Before you sign, we tell you what we can bring in and what we can't. Where a field has gaps, SHC will handle the installation.
+I have no cell signal in my fields. Does it still work?
For field sensors, yes: we set up a radio network across your place, carried out over your farm office's internet or satellite. How your combine data comes in depends on what you run; we'll go through it with you.
+Do I need power on site?
No. Where there's power, a data center can be installed on your farm, and it can earn you revenue through a revenue share or land lease. Where there isn't, your readings go to SHC servers in Texas and Kansas. SHC manages it either way. The on-farm data center is optional; everything else works on SHC servers. If you pay for the hardware, you own it, and you share revenue with SHC or pay SHC an operational fee. The term, power, removal and insurance are in a written agreement you can take to your own attorney and tax advisor before you sign.
+Will you control my combine, pumps or pivots?
No. It reads your machines. It does not run them.
+Can my insurance adjuster or a buyer trust the record?
Each harvest record is stamped on an immutable ledger that any third-party reviewer can verify, built to show if it has been changed or tampered with. The stamp doesn't prove a reading was right, so keep your machines calibrated and your scale tickets with the record. The insurer and the buyer decide.
+Who sees my records?
You decide. They sit in your own account. Your data is not sent to any outside company, not kept beyond the systems we run for you, and not used to train any model. Security is a goal we share with you, not a promise.
+What does it cost?
Every box is sized to your operation. Tell us what you run and grow, and you get a fixed number before you sign.
+What happens to my records if I stop?
You can take your data and leave at any level. A full copy of your records is yours whenever you want it.
+I run cattle, not a combine. Is this for me?
Wells, tanks and pumps on the same radio network. A tank running low or a pump stopping goes to the person who owns it.

Put this harvest on the record.

Start taking control of your records now. Tell us what you run and grow. A person at SHC replies by email, and we set up a short call if it helps.

Build it for me

Tell us what you're trying to do. We scope it and give you a fixed number before you sign.
