Dimi
Dimi is a systems architect and infrastructure operator specializing in self-hosted AI compute. Over the past decade he built and ran enterprise IT as a system administrator inside a billion-dollar healthcare organization, architecting the deployment and maintenance of the systems behind 40+ sites, 1,000 laptops, 500 desktops, 1,000 IoT devices, 100 virtual servers, 2 data center locations, and 10,000 users.
He has since brought that operational discipline to the frontier of edge compute, leading the architecture and operation of Sovereign Hybrid Compute's entire infrastructure, a fully self-hosted stack with zero public-cloud dependencies.
As CTO he leads the full technology stack:
- Compute and inference. From low-level Linux kernel and GPU-inference engineering, including custom llama.cpp and CUDA work, model quantization, and KV-cache optimization behind a self-hosted multi-GPU AI serving cluster, up through systems management and workflow automation.
- Networking. ISP- and local-grade networking (BGP peering, owned IP space, and multi-site firewall, switch, and encrypted-overlay fabric).
- Storage, virtualization and compute. The layers beneath it all (ZFS/Ceph, iSCSI, Proxmox, and bare-metal GPU fleets).
He pairs multi-stage systems integration with high-stakes, cryptographically secured fail-safe design, converting raw hardware and energy into reliable, sovereign computing capacity at the edge.
